learning to use photoshop

we all went into the computer lab and went into our groups.
from this the class had to learn how to do the basics in photoshop.
such as the magic wand tool, this alows the user to cut out something aslong as the background does not clash. we first cut out a picture of someone who dident clash, but then we tryed to cut out someone who did clash and it was alot harder as i could not actualy get them cut out compleetly.
we then lernt how to feather a picture using the circle tool with feather effect on. this is useful when you want to add something extra to the page and want it to look "blended"
after this we cut out a picture of a person and had to put her infront of tower bridge and try to scale her down to get the right persective. i found this lession very helpful and will help me when it comes to making the cover of the magazine.
